Quilled Flowers

The mysterious lady with cascading quilled flowers was  on- the -spur of the moment idea.These quilled flowers have been prepared to show advanced quilling and display different techniques like beehive,royal , Malaysian , fringed and 3 D flowers. A few varieties of scrolls and leaves also find place in this arrangement.

Quilled Tree

Quilled trees look very ornamental and can be framed for wall decor if desired.This is tree is still in the process of being completed and may finally end up looking quite different from what it appears here.
It appears that this year will see me doing some new forms of quilling, maybe framed pieces for a start and some graphic quilling.

Quilled Wall Clock

These various quilled flowers fit snugly into this wall clock and look good too! There are small teardrop flowers, Malayasian flowers, bunny ears, some have quilled centers while others have tiny pearls.
My love for quilled flowers is gradually overtaking my other hobbies and now I have a few boxes full of these quilled beauties and I want to make more!

Quilled Flower Basket

Quilling has been a wonderful experience for me and I was amazed by the flexibility of the strips of paper ! Surprisingly the end result is quite sturdy . This basket is the result of all the different types of flowers I had made during the last one month after I starting quilling.
The basket is made of C scrolls 3 " long , the flowers are made of looping, marquis, grape-fruit techniques . Actually I had made a boxful of different flowers which I wanted to put together in a pleasing manner and the basket was a nice container !
