Quilled Earrings

Quilled earrings have fascinated me ever since the time I started quilling 2 years ago.
Recently I browsed through earring making tutorials on the web and ordered some earring making hooks etc.
My earring making skills are pretty rudimentry and the earrings in the photograph are my maiden attempt.

Quilled Pendant

This is a butterfly pendant which I made recently.Quilled jewelery is quite sturdy and not as delicate as it appears. I have used rhine stones to make it a bit interesting.

Quilled Pendant

I just love quilled jewellery , its so delicate and unique !
Had a great time surfing jewellery sites and have finally quilled a pendant for Take A Quill Pills Challenge 11. I have used small Rhine stones to brighten up the quilling.
I bought these Rhine stones from Chandini Chowk, Delhi . The market was built during the Mughal Emperor Shah Jehans reign ,the very same man who built the beautiful Taj Mahal for his wife.
The market is incredibly crowded but is a treasure trove for craft materials. The narrow lanes and by-lanes are rich in history and its a shoppers paradise !
