Peacock

I always wanted to make a quilled peacock and finally did it yesterday .There was no internet and I had plenty of time on my hands. I had started by clearing my craft table and one thing led to the other and this is the result .
The peacock is made up of some marquis ,and some scrollwork which I love ! The scrolls are so graceful ! I added the branch, leaves and flowers to fill up the space .
The peacock is the national bird of India and is truly a magnificent sight to behold . Its feather are gorgeous , silky and colorful. Only the peacock has the beautiful plumage , in comparison the peahen is rather plain and dowdy. Its said that the peacock dances and shows off its feathers to attract the peahen . I like the role reversal !!!!!
Good news ! This peacock was selected for Indian Ethnic .
