Quilled Rakhis

Rakshabandhan is fast approaching and I have been flooded with requests for some Quilled rakhi designs leading to the above trials! Anyone with basic quilling skills can make the rakhis featured here.
On Rakhi day the sister ties a Rakhi on her brother's wrist, in return he promises to protect her from all harm and gives her a gift.This festival is primarily for brothers and sisters.
Earlier rakhis were made at home with silk threads by the sisters themselves ,now the market is flooded with rakhis of all types and varieties.
Recently the simple festival has taken an expensive turn with advertisements coaxing brothers and sisters to buy luxurious items for each other , even diamonds and jewellery!
