Raksha Bandhan festival celebrates the love between brothers and sisters.The brother promises to look after and help his sister and the sister prays for his long life .Delicacies are prepared and gifts exchanged.
The fragile Rakhi tied on the brothers wrist by the sister symbolises their bond of love .
It is a beautiful festival and the married girls visit their parental home for the occasion to tie rakhis to their brothers.
I have made some Quilled Rakhis, and used Rhinestones to decorate .There are plenty of Rakhi making ideas here for creative sisters !
